Data & setup
Live availability
Court availability comes through the Courtside proxy, a small private Cloudflare Worker that reads each booking platform and returns one common format. Enter its address and access key to switch from sample data to live data. Both are saved in this browser only.
Sources
- Courts, prices, availability: Playtomic, Padel Mates and ClubSpark through the proxy, for the UK and Ireland. ClubSpark venues are added by name in the proxy's settings. MATCHi isn't included because it doesn't allow automated access to its booking schedules.
- Members-only clubs: flagged by ClubSpark and Padel Mates. For Playtomic, a club with no public slots all week is shown as "No public slots".
- Planning applications: PlanIt, an open aggregator of UK council planning portals, called directly from your browser.
- Weather: Open-Meteo 7-day forecast.
- Place search: postcodes.io (Ordnance Survey and ONS open data) for the UK; OpenStreetMap Nominatim for Ireland.
- Maps: © OpenStreetMap contributors.
How the numbers are modelled
- Occupancy = 1 − free court-hours ÷ open court-hours, between 07:00 and 23:00. In the browser it is "booked so far" for the coming week. The proxy's hourly sampler records each hour just before it starts, which is close to final occupancy.
- Price per hour normalises every listed slot to 60 minutes.
- Estimated revenue = booked court-hours per day × average price per hour × 365.
- Courts proposed in planning applications is read from the description text, so it is approximate.
